Austrocochlea porcata (Adams, 1853)

This shells appearance varies slightly from narrow to broad striped lines that form continuously around the body whorls at an oblique angle and can be coloured from blacks to reddish browns. The body whorls three to four spiral ribs.

It can be difficult to tell this species apart from Austrocochlea brevis
