Candalides acasta (Cox, 1873)

Male upperside is purplish-bronze, with extremities of the wings brownish-black. Females upperside is dark-brown, with purple central areas. Underside not strongly patterned, grey with a diffuse greyish-brown band near the extremities and rows of small, obscure, blackish-brown markings
