The shells of this species is large and heavy,it is circular in outline and somewhat inflated. The exterior is cream and may be tinged with colour at rounded apex (umbonal area), the interior is white. An exterior sculpture of numerous fine concentric ridges, spaces between ridges is narrow whilst wider towards the margins of the shell
