Ocellate Seastar

Nectria ocellata Perrier, 1876

This five armed seastar has a wide disc that tappers into thin tips. The surface is covered with seperated "tables" each with small wedge-shaped granules around the edge. It is red to orange in colour it may sometimes be mottled by some lighter and darker tables
