Green Vegetable Bug

Nezara viridula (Linnaeus, 1758)

This Green Stink Bug is a plant feeding insect believed to have originated from Ethiopia it feeds on many bean crops making it a major pest to those crops.

There are several variations in the colouration of this insect the most common being a predominately green bug with three parallel white spots towards the head.
