Tomahawk is located on the northeast coastline of Tasmania and is a small seaside community overlooking Ringarooma Bay and Flinders Island or the Furneaux Group of islands.

The area well known as a destination to relax and unwind from the many beaches, dramatic sand dunes and accessible bushland. There is no better way to discover and unwind at the beach.

The area offers land-based fishing from the surf along those many beaches or from the rugged rocky edges to the rivers and freshwater lakes stocked with Brown and Rainbow Trout. For those with boats the bay offers up a large range of species from flathead to snapper or for the diver’s large cray are common along the rocky reefs not far from the shore.
