Seaberry Saltbush

Rhagodia candolleana Moq.

Sprawling shrub the foliage is semi-succulent and ranging from thin to thick depending on available soil moisture. Leaves are deep green above and paler beneath and are oblong to ovate in shape.

Fruits are pale green ripening through to deep red in late summer to autumn

This saltbush has a bitter edible berry which can be used to make a pink dye
