About

This relatively small species of sea snail is the only one of its genus that can be found in Australia. They cluster in large numbers on rock faces at the highest points on rock platforms. They are usually the most abundant mollusc on rocky shores.

The size range varies between 10 mm and 25 mm

Habitat

Exposed reef and cliff faces around the high tide mark

Distribution

From Western Australia to Queensland including Tasmania
