About

An evergreen tree it has dark brown wood that is deeply furrowed wood. In it's native area it blooms between July and December producing inflorescences that appear in groups to two to eight on an axillary raceme, the spherical flower-heads have a diameter of 5 to 10 mm

Small to large tree up to 20 m

Habitat

Widespread from coastal areas to wet sclerophyll forests or near cooler rainforests

Distribution

South Eastern Australia from SA to QLD including Tasmania
