About

The shell of this species is smaller than the actual snail and site on top of it much like a shield.
This species the hole more central on the shell with a number of ray like paterns extending from the hole to the edge of the shell gradually widening

Size

Can grow up to around 31mm

Habitat

In sandy areas subtidally particulally around seagrass beds often burried under the sand.

Distribution

From southern Queensland to Western Australia including Tasmania
