Broad Clingfish

Creocele cardinalis (Ramsay, 1882)

A small secretive fish with a broad flattened head with colours ranging from mottled greens to mottled browns, the cordal fin or tail is rounded and the dorsal fin is located towards the back near the tail.

The underside of this fish is pale to white with a double sucking disc the rear or posterior half has a fleshy margin.
