This cream to white cockle has a thin ribbed shell with over 50 ribs the shell itself is fragile and it may have a pinkish colouration near the rounded apex (umbo)

Size

Can grow up to around 6cm

Habitat

Subtidally in sand and mud to a depth of 30m
