About

This chinton features a shell that is broad and ovate in shape the colouration and markings are variable. The girdle around the shell plates is moderatly narrow and features small smooth scales that are almost round in shape the colouration and marking on the girdal is also variable.

Can grow up to 30mm in length normally less than this however

Habitat

Under rocks from the wlower interidal zone to subtidal reefs

Distribution

From Southern Queemsland to Southern WA including around Tasmania
