Ischnochiton smaragdinus (Angas, 1867)

This chinton features a shell that is broad and ovate in shape the colouration and markings are variable. The girdle around the shell plates is moderatly narrow and features small smooth scales that are almost round in shape the colouration and marking on the girdal is also variable.
