About

The small test of this species features a zigzag patern that is absent of spines whilst the spines across the rest of the animal are bright red. It is very rarely encountered live and most commonly found washed up on beaches following rough weather.

Habitat

on sea floors amoung reefs to a depth of 40m

South-eastern Australia
