About

Known locally from a shell washed up along Tomahawk Beach this is a less commonly seen species and is another of the smaller marine gastropods

Identification

A white shell that that has spire that is slightly elevated with rounded whorls and the expands to a wider aperture.

Size

Can grow to around 9mm

Habitat

Can be found subtidally amoungst rocks and seaweeds

Distribution

Southern Australia from Wa to NSW including around Tasmania
