About

This brown flatworm has two ocelli (eye spots). These are simple eyes that can detect light allowing this species to move out of the light into darker areas such has under rocks and dark crevices.

Size

Can grow up to around 40mm

Habitat

Under rocks away from the light in the lower intertidal zone

Distribution

South-east Australian coastline including all of Tasmania and can also be found in New Zealand
