Identification

Dark brown on top with a blueish-purple sheen, with a large orangey-copper patch on each wing, and an arc of blue dashes along the rear wing margins. Underneath, they are pale brown, with a number of outlined fawn patches

Size

wing span of around 24mm

Habitat

Native scrublands in particular around Pittosporaceae species.

Distribution

Eastern AUstralia including around Tasmania
