Identification
A large sandy to dark brown or greyish flathead it has a paler bottom and few irregularly-shaped blue or white blotches, and 3-5 large roundish dark spots on its tail.Size
Can grow to at least 90cm and around 8kg.Habitat
It Inhabits sandy areas and weed beds in shallow coastal waters, especially shallow protected bays, to a depth of about 30 mDistribution
