This very well camouflaged grasshopper looks much like the grass and reeds it is found in it features a long body that is cylindrical in shaped. Despite it's shap and size it does move rather well.

Identification

Colour varies with greens and browns the body is long and almost cylindrical in shape with a long point head

Size

Can grow to over 35mm

Habitat

Amoungst grasses and reeds

Distribution

South-Eastern Australia from NSW to Tasmania
