About

A low coiled rounded shell the whorls are low and rounded with a prominent apex. The colour varies from whites to greys and violets. Some speciemens may have a furry brown periostracum.

Can grow to around 25mm

Habitat

Lives subtidally atttached to stones and the shells of living molluscs

Distribution

Southern Australia from WA to NSW including Tasmania
