Deadman's Fingers

Splachnidium rugosum (Linnaeus) Greville 1830

Featuring a swollen main stipe that may have similar shaped side branches with tips that are rounded and whilst the base is more constricted. The whole plant filled with a thick clear slime. The colour varies from greenish rown to pale yellows.
