About

The shell is coloured fawn to brown sometimes darker and may have a darker band at the base of the body whorl. The whorls feature axial folds that form nodules at the suture.

Size

Can grow to aroung 13mm Long

Habitat

Can be found on sand and mud in the intertidal zone

Distribution

Southern Australia from WA to QLD including around Tasmania can also be found in New Zealand
